Rosemarie (Marie) Trafford is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist and a Massage Specialist, who has recently moved to BC from AB.  She is the owner and operator of   Assessment First Massage and Lymphatics. She has spent the past 15-years training her mind and hands to try and help you figure out what may be causing the pain you are experiencing.  If that can be done, then she tries to help your nervous system, muscles and lymphatic system learn something new to relieve, or change, some of the pain and discomfort you are feeling.

Rosemarie (Marie) Trafford is a Massage Specialist and Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) and Complete Decongestive Therapist (CDT).  She is trained in Myofascial Cupping Technique, Dermoneuromodulation (DNM), took a Master Series with Professor Lorimer Moseley, one of the creators of Explain Pain. Other continuing education includes:  Oncology massage; Scar Tissue Management; Lymphatics; CranioSacral Therapy (CST) (Level One); Pre-natal massage; Intra-oral TMJ massage; Migraine and tension headache pain management; Lower and upper body nerve mobilization for the treatment of sciatic and carpal tunnel pain; pain science and much more.  

During your first appointment, you will notice Rosemarie (Marie) Trafford does things differently.  A thorough oral health history is recorded and an assessment is done before you are on the table. She strongly believes it is the first step in helping you solve some of your pain issues and that is why it is ALWAYS done.  Your initial consultation appointment is 90-minutes, but you only pay less than a normal 90-minute appointment, so no one skips the health history portion because of money concerns!

Marie firmly believes you should NOT leave a massage feeling worse than when you walked in the door.  If you believe in "no pain, no gain" then this is not the right place for you.  

DIRECT BILLING IS NOT AVAILABLE.  Debit, Credit Card, Interac E-transfers and cash are all accepted.
