Missed Appointments

When you book an appointment with us, that time is set aside for you - and ONLY you. We never double book and we try to always be ready for you when you arrive. In return, we ask that you keep your promise to us and show up for your appointment on time.

Please understand that massage therapists only get paid when they deliver a service... therefore missed appointments are costly for us and prevent us from catering to other clients.

That said, our policy is simple. If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, and you have not notified us at least 12 hours in advance, you will be required to pay a flat rate of $50.00.

Cancellations

In the event that you unable to keep your scheduled appointment with us, please contact us by phone at least 12 hours prior to your appointment. If you do not reach us, please leave a message on our voicemail system. You can also text or email.  If we do not hear from you within this timeframe, and you do not keep your appointment, the above policy will be applied.

Note: We recognize that no one is perfect and there are circumstances that are out of your control (sudden illness, family emergenies, etc.) and so your therapist may make an exception to the above policies on those rare occasions.


Receipts

Printed receipts can be provided upon request, but are usually emailed directly to the patient.  These are always made out in the name of the person who is having the treatment.  These are dated for the day the treatment is provided -- no post or pre-dating of receipts will ever occur.  Gratuities for the therapist are not accepted, but if you insist, the receipt will show the charge for the treatment only, not the gratuity, if any is provided.  If a duplicate copy of a receipt is required, it clearly shows it is a duplicate copy.  Insurance fraud is a concern for everyone and has the potential to effect all claims submitted to third-party payers.  That is why the receipt policy is so clear and you know up front what to expect.
