Rosemarie (Marie) Trafford is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) and Complete Decongestive Therapist (CDT).  She is trained in Dermoneuromodulation (DNM), took a Master Series with Professor Lorimer Moseley, one of the creators of Explain Pain. Other continuing education includes:  Oncology massage; Scar Tissue Management; Lymphatics; CranioSacral Therapy (CST) (Level One); Pre-natal massage; Intra-oral TMJ massage; Migraine and tension headache pain management; Lower and upper body nerve mobilization for the treatment of sciatic and carpal tunnel pain; pain science and much more.  

During your first appointment you will notice Rosemarie (Marie) Trafford, RMT, CLT does things differently.  ALL NEW CLIENT FIRST APPOINTMENTS ARE 90-MINUTES in length to accommodate the taking of a thorough health history. The COVID-19 Pandemic taught Marie that people are better at remembering and telling their story than writing it down.  The first appointment includes question and answers that are recorded for your health history.  Then there is assessment and treatment. 

Marie firmly believes you should NOT leave a massage feeling worse than when you walked in the door.  If you believe in "no pain, no gain" then this is not the right therapist for you.  

DIRECT BILLING IS AVAILABLE FOR MANY INSURANCE PLANS.  It is the patient's responsibility to know if they need a doctor's referral for their medical insurance.  The claim will be processed online before patient leaves.  IF THERE ARE PROCESSING PROBLEMS, OR CLAIM IS REJECTED, the patient WILL have to pay the full cost.
