Every person arrives with a unique history, goals and stage of healing.  Rather than applying the same treatment to everyone, we begin with a thoughtful, and thorough, assessment to determine the most appropriate approach for your individual needs.

Marie (Rosemarie) Trafford, is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) and Massage Specialist.  She brings over 17-years of experience and a wide variety of training to help figure out your particular circumstances. One treatment will not be like the next, even on the same person! Tissue changes and so the way we treat it changes too.

The newest tool in the clinic is called the Dolphin Neurostim© Micro-current Point Stimulation (MPS) Scar Tissue Release. This adds to techniques Marie already uses; like Manual Scar Tissue Management, Lymphatic Drainage Therapy and MLD (Manual Lymphatic Drainage), Myofascial Cupping, Dermoneuromodulation (DNM), Manual, Oncology massage and Pain Science.  

The goal is to help your nervous system learn new ways to relieve pain and tension. Whether you’re dealing with scars, chronic pain, tension headaches, or looking for specialized care such as oncology or lymphedema, we’ll create a plan that’s right for you.

Located at 231 Trans Canada Highway, Suite 208 in downtown Salmon Arm.  That’s inside the Samara Commercial Building, next to the Bank of Montreal.  The office is on the second floor (an elevator is available), a right turn at the end of a long hallway, beside Muse and inside Family Chiropractors.

What to Expect on Your First Visit 

Your journey begins with a recorded discussion of life, experiences and what brings you through the door (not just your current injury, or pain).  After the health history is finished, an assessment is done before treatment. The shorter the appointment booked, the less time there will be for treatment during the initial session.

Payment includes debit, credit, Interac e-transfers, and cash. There is no direct billing to third party insurance because Marie is NOT a RMT in BC.
